Prime Sheep

Scots Gap Mart sold Texel cross prime lambs to £133 from Edward Thoburn, Pitland Hills, with Cheviot Mules from F T Walton, Flotterton not far behind at £132. Suffolk crosses peaked at £131 from Andrew Gibson, Thornton Tower.

Trade overall was slightly easier on the week, the sale went on to average £116.50 per head for 47.8p/kg.
