Hoggs travelling from far and wide to take advantage of a competitive ring of buyers bidding for straight sheep and straight weights.
Topping the sale at £184 was a trio of hoggs from Mr D F Brodie, Chesters, whose run of 29 hoggs averaged £160.81.
Top ppk was a pen of 4 Beltex x at 347.4ppk from Messrs J Browell & Son, Quarry House.
Not far behind at 346.2ppk was hoggs from Messrs J & J Burnett, Staythorpe Farming, Newark, whose run of 275 hoggs averaged 316ppk.
