Another great entry of Cast Cows this week but a show that lacked flesh. Trade maintained last weeks extreme rates with seventy-four cows averaging 204ppk and selling to 259.5ppk for a Limousin cross cow from Messrs K & HA Ridley, Allenshields Farm.
Highest grossing cow came from Mr F T Walton, Flotterton with a heavy Limousin cross realising £2028.18.
A marvellous first run of Limousin cows from Messrs Robertson, Embleton Mill, Alnwick which went on to average 214ppk.
Belted Galloway cows from Mr G Younger, Snitter Farm sold to 209.5ppk.
