Another cracking trade seen for cast cattle, with not a fancy show forward but a trade the Easter Bunny would have been proud of, leaving a sale average of 192.8ppk and £1403.54.
There was a three-way tie for top position this week with three Limousin cross cows selling to 217.5ppk. Firstly from Messrs G W & C Athey & Son, High Lovelady Shield then a pair from Messrs T L Forster & Son, Lowes Fell.
Angus cross cows remain easily sold with Mr F T Walton, Flotterton selling cows to 211.5ppk and 207.5ppk.
Returning to the live ring and reaping the benefits was Sir Tom Cowie Family Trust, Espershields who sold Angus cross cows to £1857.25.
Holstein cows peaked at 173.5ppk from S J Kellett & Sons, Whitehouse Farm.

Top ppk was 437.8ppk from J D Straughan, Hill Head Farm.
