Store Cattle & Store Sheep inc. Mule & Hill Lamb Show
Hexham Auction Mart

STORE CATTLE
A mixed show of Store Cattle forward saw improved returns on the week following the national trend.
Topping the sale at £2620 was a pair and again with a single Limousin Cross bullock from local supporter I & A Hamilton, Claywalls. This well presented run of 15 cattle went on to average £2481.33.
Away from this run, heifers peaked at £2440 with an Aberdeen Angus from regular consignor G & J H Tomlinson, Sunniside.
Classes across the board brilliant to sell as we approach the October cattle sales. We encourage vendors forward with next Friday being the first of the show sales which will be well worthy of vendor and buyer attention.
Entries welcomed to auctioneers.
