Hexham & Northern Marts sold 2187 Prime Lambs selling to a Christmas Bonanza, with an overall average of 353ppk or 366ppk SQQ.
Lambs weighing from 27kg – 67kg with lambs from both sides of the border and neighbouring counties reaping the festive trade.
Topping the sale at £200 was a Dutch Texel x lamb from J W Smith-Jackson, Lipwood Well/
Top ppk was 442.1ppk for a pair of Texel x lambs from Reay & Walton, St Oswalds.
