Cast Cows & OTM

The first sale of Cast Cattle in 2024 did not disappoint, with a noticeable lift In trade from pre-Christmas levels.

The very plain show of cows that were presented went on to average 181ppk.

The sale topped at 237.5ppk for a well finished Simmental x cow from Messrs K Smith & Sons, East Greenridge.

Leading the grossing charts was a pure Charolais cow from Mr J R G Johnson, West Wharmley, which realised £1969.14.
