Sale topped at 358p/kg for a Limousin Cow from W & H I Watson, Sanders Close. Whilst pounds per head topper was from J R Thompson & Son, The Fawns, again for a Limousin Cow at £2587.25.

Hexham & Northern Marts sold 2102 Prime Lambs to a better than expected trade for 627 more on the year and £18.84 or 36p/kg up.
The sale included the annual Summer Show & Sale including young handlers and YFC Show.
The Championship was awarded to G R Hindmarsh & Sons, Linden Hill Head for a trio of Texels selling to £240 to the judge Mr Andrew Atkinson.
The Reserve Championship went to Foley Bros, Mirlaw House for a trio of Suffolk x lambs selling to £218 to Mr James Curle.
Young Handlers was won by Clara Nixon, White Hall selling to £260 to the judge again.
Reserve Young Handlers went to Olivia Walby, East Houses selling to £225, again to the judge.
Out with the show the sale topped at £240 from Walker Brothers, Satley.
P/kg was topped at 511.4p/kg from J & E Walby, East House Farm.
