Hexham and Northern Marts sold 404 Ewes & Hoggs with Lambs at Foot at their fourth sale of the month.

Topping the sale at £172/ life (£344 a family) for 10 Texel cross Hoggs with 10 Lambs at foot from Messrs W & J A Longlands, Rusheylaw who also sold another lot of pen of 20 Hoggs and Lambs for £160/life,

Mr K Hall, West Butsfield sold a pen of 7 Texel cross Hoggs with 7 Texel cross lambs at foot for £152/life and then a pen of Mules, 7 Hoggs Single lambs at foot for £132/life.

Ewes & Lambs sold for £110/life for Texels from Mr J H Emerson, Haggate Farm.
