Hexham & Northern Marts sold 866 Cast Ewes & Rams at the final sale of the year of 2023.
Overall trade would be a touch dearer with mules £10 up on the week.
Topping the sale was a pair of Texel ewes at £200 from C & C Farming, Flotterton Cottage.
Suffolk x ewes sold to £138 from Messrs G W Dodd & Sons, Saugh House.
Mules topped at £118 twice, firstly a pen of 21 from Messrs Davison, Old Town then a pen of 24 from Mr P C Charlton, Little Harle.
Blackface ewes sold to £94 from Messrs R D Archer & Son, Carry House for a pen of 8.
A pen of 10 Swale ewes sold for £89 from Messrs K Smith & Sons, East Greenridge and then another 10 at £88.
